…my name is Karen, a Nottingham (UK) based portrait artist with a passion for drawing faces. With many years experience of working with different media I have secured commissions covering families, friends, children and babies, pets, weddings, popstars and classic film stars.

I believe I can capture the warmth and personality of my subjects to great effect, and using graphite pencils allows me to achieve a wonderful quality and depth to my drawings. I also work in colour pencil using a variety of styles.
