How it works...

If you'd like a no-obligation quote or to commission a portrait then you can contact me at enquiries@portraitsbykaren.co.uk or call 07983 794466. My prices start at £90 (plus p+p) for a single, basic, unframed portrait, A4 (297x210mm). All quotes are individual, and designed to suit your own particular requirements – nothing is too much trouble! Quotes include postage but not mounting and framing, but I can provide this service for an extra charge if required. It would be useful (though not necessary) if you could email me your chosen image when requesting a quote, so I can check suitability and give you a more accurate price. A lot of time, care and attention to detail goes into each portrait, and I aim to give you the best service I possibly can.

Once a price has been agreed and you are ready to place your order, then I request that you pay a non-returnable deposit of £40, at the same time you supply me with your photo/image. This is a flat rate, whatever your quote is. You can pay by cheque or bankers draft, made payable to Karen Balderson.

If you need your portrait for a specific date, please let me know – turnaround depends on workload so I will endeavour to complete your commission within the time frame specified.

Payment

I will email you a copy of your portrait for your approval once it's completed. When you are happy with it, then please send the remaining balance. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH! I cannot take any responsibility for its safe arrival. As mentioned before, you can pay by cheque or bankers draft. Sorry, but your portrait will not be sent to you until full payment has been received and cleared – I will then post your portrait to you, using either Royal Mail's Special Delivery™ Next Day service, or Recorded Signed For™.
